As part of the DigiCrete project, a custom CNC machine was developed. It was specifically designed to support our research work with new cement-based materials.
Unlike standard CNCs used for cutting or milling, our setup was engineered to test the printability of fresh concrete mixes. With precise control over movement, speed, and customised nozzles, it allows us to simulate digital fabrication processes and evaluate material performance close to realistic conditions.
